Tue Sep 10, 2013 8:52 pm by Positivevibe

I just moved from Chennai, I am looking for admission for my 6 year old kid.
After my extensive search, understand that I can place my kid only in international school, as both of us are holding only professional visa.

Can someone suggest me, if there is any private or tamil school which will admit foreign national?

Do you send your kids to private tuition after school or do you teach them yourselves? What are the pros and cons of sending kids to private tuition after school? Is it an unnecessary burden for the kids or is it seen as much needed assistance for the kids in terms of education?

A follow up to the discussion we started way back in the little india days. I found this one article dated Jan 2008 about the now famous International Irish University which i was following closely. It was quite an elaborate operation with graduation ceremonies etc.

Now the website is empty.

1. Sekolah Sri Murni
2. Sekolah Sri Chempaka
3. Convent Bukit Nenas (my personal preference)

We are also thinking of registering to a nearby Govt school, as a "just in …

No.4 and bad luck

Post by blackmafia25 on Thu Aug 21, 2008 2:49 pm

hi all,

i heard that a lot of indians tend to follow chinese about the number 4. in chinese number 4 pronounced as "sei" or death. so that's why they refrain from using number 4 as using house number or car number.

but i dont understand why indians like to follow blindly.

any comment on this ladies and gentlemen

There are many thing Indians think negatively.
-
- Girlr born on Saturday are considered unlucky.
- Boys born on Fridays are said will ruin the family.
- Houses at T-junctions will attract bad luck and so on.

There are many more......just unable to recall now.Maybe other can give other examples here.

The question is: Are we influenced by this kind of believes?

but baby do have very sensitive senses during first few months. they will cry if there is a slightest change in temperature, pressure, sound, smell. i m not sure how true, i read somewhere. but think this is not logical.

it is logical if u squeeze the clothes when he is wearing it
